- Brazil Ministry Update
Thank you friends and partners for supporting this ministry! What an impact we made together in Brazil!
From July 15th-31st, Brian ministered in evangelistic crusades and conferences all over Sao Paulo state. Sao Paulo is the largest city in the western hemisphere with around 20 million people! Partnering with local churches from many denominations, we brought in a huge harvest.
There is a cloud of revival in Brazil that is really impacting the country at all levels. We were blessed to be a part of what God is doing there.
For the second year in a row, Preston Smith, a theology student at Regent University, travelled with Brian and was also able to preach on a couple of occasions in the cities of Souzano and Gauriba while Brian ministered in other cities.
In every city we went to, we were shown great favor and God's grace. There were hundreds who accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior with 80 coming in the last meeting alone!
In one city, the pastor was so excited as we had a local witchcraft/spiritist leader give his life to Jesus!
On several other occasions, people were physically healed in one meeting and were so moved that they came forward for salvation the next night!
We witnessed many healings including a boy who was blind in one eye regaining his sight and a girl who was going to be rushed to the hospital after the meeting for severe kidney pain. When she left that night, God already healed her! Literally hundreds were healed as we prayed for all who came forward.
We also saw several people set free from severe demonic oppression.
On the last night of meetings we had a time of inner healing prayer and the alter was full of about 100 people all weeping uncontrolably as the Father was healing their hearts as only He can do.
We were truly humbled and in awe of all we took part in for God's glory.
In the city of Sao Carlos, Brian was suprised as he was awarded an honorary Doctoral Degree from one of the most prestigious Theological Seminarys in the nation, The Faculade Teologic Cristocentrica.
In every city we were totally dependent on God and the leading of his Spirit. We never knew what each day would hold for us. One day Brian was asked to minister on a local radio show that is heard by thousands every day. Many called in for prayer and were invited to the nightly meetings.
Also while there, plans were made for the translation of Brian's book into Portugese. Praise God! By the end of this year the book will be in print in Nepal, India and Brazil.
In the last two years God has used us in over 25 cities in Brazil reaching thousands with the gospel. Thank you again for helping us to go and take the love and power of Jesus to this world!
Tribal Crossworks Ministries in Philippines!
Early in 2004, we partnered with Pastor Ernie Matulac in the Philippines who ministers among the unreached tribal peoples there. We have sent him a study Bible, various other resources, and pray for the ministry there daily.
